   Samuel Hawk was born in a tiny, peaceful American village on December 28, 1998. He was raised in an area where people were struggling to make ends meet and there was always conflict. In order to put food on the table, his mother was forced to put in a lot of overtime after his father abandoned them early in life. Samuel was raised mostly by himself, where he learned self-care and safety techniques. Even though he had little, he persisted, clinging to what little optimism he could find in the small things in life.

 

   Samuel discovered that riding a motorcycle helped him feel at ease as he grew older. A few blocks away was an old mechanic shop, and he would frequently stand outside and observe the mechanics as they built and repaired bikes. He began assisting gradually, learning how to assemble machines and repair parts. Using spare parts that people had thrown away, he constructed his own chopper by the age of seventeen. He had an excuse to get out of bed every morning because of that bike. Life wasn't easy after that, though. He occasionally had to decide between buying meals for the day and buying gas for his bike.

 

   Samuel, who is currently in his mid-twenties, continues to ride with his chopper. To get his mind straight, not to impress anyone. Riding aids in his thought process. It serves as a reminder of his progress, even though the future is still uncertain. He has modest hopes rather than lofty aspirations. a reliable source of income, a secure environment, and even a companion. Neither a victim nor a hero is how Samuel sees himself. One day at a time, he is merely attempting to lead a life of which he can be proud.

 

   Samuel occasionally visits the former mechanic shop where everything started. As he used to, he observes the smaller children peeking in. When approached for guidance, he gives it sparingly but enough to be useful. He secretly wishes they discover something as peaceful as his bike was for him.
