In an environment that is not good for growing up, Chad was exposed to drugs from a young age. Chad's mother and father were drugs addicts, stealing to buy drugs and not caring about Chad's presence at home. One day, his parents came home with a plastic bag of meth and some cash. They immediately used the meth they had stolen. The next day, the original owner of the meth came to their house. Enraged that the drugs had been used and couldn’t be returned, he killed both of Chad's parents on the spot. Chad, who had been hiding in the bedroom, was too scared to come out. The meth owner realized someone was in the room. He pulled Chad out of the house and called the police but left the scene right away to cover his tracks. Eight years after his parents' death, Chad was already in school and his life was funded by the government. But for Chad the money from the government wasn't enough. Chad soon found a friend who sold cocaine at school, his friend was named Treyvon, Treyvon was the younger brother of one of the gang members in their neighborhood. Chad who was ambitious to earn more money decided to approach Treyvon and offered to become a dealer too like Treyvon. Treyvon initially refused but since they had known each other since childhood, Treyvon ended up sharing half the cocaine he got for Chad to sell. The first two weeks Chad sold cocaine, Chad struggled due to a lack of connections but Treyvon helped get some of his customers to Chad. They both became dealers together until they graduated and earned a lot of money from the job. One day Chad no longer found Treyvon's whereabouts, Treyvon just disappeared and left Chad confused. Chad tried to ask Treyvon's brother Luis, but Luis also did not know Treyvon's whereabouts. Two months after Treyvon's disappearance, a man named Joshua came to Chad who was working as a scavenger. Joshua told him that Treyvon had asked him to return to work as a dealer, but he had moved to a location in Playa. Chad, who did not think long, immediately followed Joshua's direction to return to being a drug dealer in Playa.
