oliverlewi Posted April 24, 2025 Posted April 24, 2025 Hey , Lately, I’ve been getting back into GTA:SA-MP and a few other online multiplayer games, but I’ve been struggling with low FPS, especially during busy scenes or big events on the server. I’m on a decent laptop (i5, 8GB RAM, integrated graphics), and I’ve already lowered most game settings, but it still lags when things heat up. I was reading up on What Is Cybersecurity the other day for a side project, and it got me thinking—maybe background processes or Windows security tools are affecting my FPS? Could that be a thing? Also, does switching from Wi-Fi to wired internet help with FPS or is that only ping-related? I know some of you have more experience tweaking things to run smoother, so I’d love any advice on improving performance—whether it’s SAMP-specific mods, config changes, or even small Windows tweaks. Thanks a lot in advance. I’m all ears! Best
