One day, on August 23, 2006 in Japan, Fukushima. Born a boy named Jiro Hidaka he was born into an decent family with his father as an office manager and his mother as a housewife. Since childhood Jiro has been taught about the world of cars because Jiro's father, Maheda, is very fond of cars, little Jiro was often invited by his father to take part in car events in his city. Maheda has his flagship car, a red 1997 Honda NSX, Maheda also often participates in illegal races in the Fukushima area. With his Honda NSX, Maheda easily won most of his illegal races. Maheda was feared and nicknamed “The Red Flash” by other Fukushima racers.

 

Jiro, who often watched his father's races, was very interested in being like his father when he grew up, when Jiro entered high school he did activities like other students. But one day when it was time to go home from school Jiro got a call from his mother that his father, Maheda, had a heart attack and was being rushed to the nearest hospital, Jiro who panicked immediately headed to the hospital by using a taxi. When Jiro arrived at the hospital, he asked for Maheda Hadaka's room, and the doctor guided Jiro to the room. When Jiro entered his father's room, his father was already conscious but in a very critical condition, Maheda also advised Jiro that if he left this world, please take care of his car and never sell it.

 

Jiro, who was sorry that his father said that, could only cry, Jiro and his mother decided to stay overnight to accompany his sick father. In the morning Jiro, who just woke up, saw his mother crying hysterically and Jiro also saw his father's heartbeat monitor which was flat. Jiro also cried for his father and missed a chance to say goodbye, when at his father's funeral Jiro promised to continue his father's legacy by taking care of his father car. When Jiro came home he opened his father's garage and saw his father's red Honda NSX sitting there. When night falls Jiro climbs into his father's car and takes the car out to participate for a illegal race tonight.
