One day a child was born on August 23, 2006 in the city of Chicago, USA named Devonte Higgins. He was born into a poor family, Devonte had a father who was a heavy drug addict and a mother who was a prostitute. Little Devonte had a difficult time where his father always committed crimes to barely support his family, and his mother always came home late everynight. From a young age, Devonte always felt lonely because he rarely received attention or interaction from his parents. When Devonte was in high school, he was always bullied by his friends because he came from a poor black family. For years Devonte endured all these things until he felt deeply depressed.

 

While at school, Devonte was approached by someone he didn't recognize who made fun of his mother's as a prostitute, Devonte couldn't hold back the anger he faced. Then Devonte beat the person to a pulp in front of the crowd, he stomped on the person's face continuously until a teacher separated them. Devonte and his parents were called by the principal, Devonte's mother begged the principal not to punish her son. The request was accepted as long as Devonte behaved well for the next week. After that incident they returned home and Devonte was scolded by his mother and told to promise not to repeat this behaviour again.

 

One night when Devonte was relaxing in his room, he heard a loud noise downstairs. When he went downstairs, Devonte saw his father and mother being robbed by a man wearing a mask and black clothes. Devonte's father tried to fight back, but the robbers did not hesitate and they shot Devonte's parents many times. Devonte, who was in shock, reflexively screamed and made a sound that made the robbers realized someone watching them. Devonte ran to his room and climbed out of his bedroom window. Devonte left his house crying and not knowing where to go. He called his friend Jamal and ask him to pick him up, Jamal responded and on his way to pick up Devonte. When Jamal arrived, Devonte told Jamal to go somewhere safe. Jamal said he got a safehouse in Los Santos nearby, So they both went there carefully. When they arrived, Devonte decided to lay low for a while.
