On the morning of November 11, 2023, Drake Clinton and Melvin sat at a table, discussing the progress of their operations in 64. Drake, the leader of the gang, was growing impatient. He ordered Melvin to take over part of the Idlewood motel territory from the Bunnies, warning him that failure would mean no payment. Melvin, being a foot soldier under Drake, had no choice but to accept. To ensure success, Drake assigned Pete to accompany him. But deep down, Melvin had no interest in carrying out the mission. He felt like nothing more than a pawn, risking his life while Drake reaped all the rewards. Pete sensed Melvin’s frustration and saw an opportunity. “Why you still takin’ orders like a lil’ pup? You got the heart to lead, bruh,” Pete whispered. He planted the idea that the only way to escape Drake’s control was to remove him from power. At first, Melvin hesitated, but the thought of running 64, calling the shots, and making his own money without splitting it with Drake was too tempting. Pete’s words kept echoing in his head. That night, Melvin made his choice—Drake had to go.

 

Inside the dimly lit 64 studio, Melvin lured Drake into a conversation, masking his true intentions. As Drake turned his back, Melvin reached for his Glock, his breathing steady. "You really think you ready for this?" Drake muttered as he saw the gun aimed at him. Without hesitation—BANG! The first bullet tore through Drake’s chest, making him stagger. BANG! Blood spilled as he collapsed against the wall, gasping for air. He barely had time to process the betrayal before—BANG! The final shot ended his reign. Drake’s lifeless body slumped to the floor, his blood staining the studio. Melvin stood frozen, staring at what he had done. He took a deep breath, tucking his gun away. There was no turning back now. Without a second glance, he stepped over Drake’s body and walked into the cold night, ready to claim his new throne.
