His career ended abruptly when he uncovered a conspiracy linking powerful politicians to organized crime. Instead of justice, he found himself hunted by the very people he sought to expose. When an assassination attempt nearly took his life, Daniel had no choice but to disappear. With a handful of cash and a fake ID, he fled to Los Santos—a city where people go to be forgotten. Now living under the radar, Daniel works as a truck driver, hauling goods across the city and countryside. The job keeps him moving, allowing him to stay off the grid while earning just enough to survive. He sleeps in cheap motels, avoids making friends, and never stays in one place too long. But despite his efforts to keep a low profile, trouble follows him. A mysterious employer starts assigning him shady deliveries, a local gang takes an interest in his routes, and an old contact warns him that his past is catching up. At first, Daniel wants nothing more than to stay hidden, but as he drives through the underbelly of Los Santos, he starts seeing patterns—people disappearing, illegal shipments moving in the dead of night, and whispers of the same corruption he once exposed. His instincts as a journalist never faded, and soon, he begins collecting evidence again. But the more he digs, the more dangerous his life becomes. When Daniel stumbles upon a shipment that wasn’t meant to be seen, he realizes he has two choices: keep driving and pretend he saw nothing, or risk everything to expose the truth once more. The city’s criminal underworld wants him silenced, but his old enemies might still be out there, waiting for him to make a mistake. With his truck as his only escape and the open road as his battleground, he must decide whether to keep running or finally take a stand. Daniel Toronto is not just another trucker in Los Santos—he is a man trying to outrun his past while driving straight into his destiny. Whether he ends up as a hero, a ghost, or another casualty of the city depends on the choices he makes—and how long he can stay ahead of those hunting him.
