      Dawson Cosgrove is the child of Juliany Manila and Duke Cosgroves, he was born in the Grove Street area, Los Santos. He was born on September 15, 2006, his parents had been dating for 2 years, and his father knew that his mother, Juliany, was pregnant. The father was confused because he had not returned to the city for 2 months, and after that incident, Dawson was inevitably born into a family that had already separated, where his father Duke left his mother when he found out that she was pregnant and carrying Dawson.

 

Since childhood, he was always with his mother. Dawson was a cheerful child when he was 8 years old, but after 9 years, Dawson dropped out of high school and lived in a very difficult cultural environment in the Los Santos area, where the crime rate was high in that community. He lived in poverty with his mother when he decided to drop out of school, fate forced him to meet Obispo Monteca, a newcomer from the West Coast who had just moved to Grove Street. He hit the streets and joined a group of young people who always interacted with him on the streets.

 

Sometimes, he worked part-time due to circumstances, sometimes he often played basketball with the street kids around his house, he always hoped that what he was trying would make his mother, who always accompanied him, proud. Over time, he gathered with a group of friends on the streets near his house, and he was stirred by his curiosity about something the group was planning. He got caught up in a very dangerous society, Obispo encouraged Dawson to always interact around the streets to gain self-esteem in the life of society, because if Dawson succeeded and became an influential person there, he would be guaranteed to earn money from drug sales and illegal weapons, even though he knew the threat of the police was always in front of him.
