His father was an US Army who died while on duty in the war in Iraq. He left behind his wife and Crook, who was still very young at the time. After his father’s death, his mother decided to remarry and chose to live in Bali, Indonesia, with her new husband, leaving LeMaun in the care of his grandparents in Palomino, Los Santos. His grandfather was also a war veteran who successfully survived his mission in Vietnam. He was a disciplined man who loved giving advice. After retiring, he and his wife returned to their hometown, Palomino, Los Santos. They chose to live a simple life in the countryside and opened a small shop selling fish. With some of his pension money, his grandfather also bought his dream motorcycle, a 1953 Indian Chief, which he purchased from a friend who needed money at the time. However, as he grew older, the motorcycle was never used again, sitting parked in the same spot for over a decade. They call me Crook Crook spent his teenage years at the boxing gym, training hard to chase his dream of becoming a professional boxer. His grandfather had raised him with a level of discipline that felt almost military like, hoping Crook might follow in his footsteps and join the armed forces. Crook didn’t mind with the strict upbringing. Just as his dream of turning pro was within reach, disaster struck during a sparring session at the gym. His sparring partner lost control after taking a few hits from Crook and landed a brutal cross straight to Crook’s nose, shattering it. The injury required surgery, and the compensation from his sparring partner wasn’t enough to cover the medical bills. Crook had to dip into his savings to pay for the operation. After the incident, Crook had to let go of his dream of becoming a professional boxer. His nose never healed properly, left crooked to one side, and his breathing was never the same again. "God Bless you grandpa" Crook had zero interest in motorcycles until his grandfather passed away. After the injury that forced him into early retirement, he took a job as a taxi driver for a local company. Life became monoton and dull, as he hadn’t found a new purpose to keep him going. After work, he’d kill time scrolling through Instagram, just trying to stave off the boredom. One day, a video about an old motorcycle popped up on his feed, reminding him of the dusty bike that had been sitting untouched in the garage for years. The thought crossed his mind “what if he could bring that old bike back to life?”. At least, it would give him something to do after work.
