From an early age, he was known simply as Adrian by his family and those closest to him. The streets where he grew up were a battleground, violence, drug trafficking, and crime were part of daily life. His father, a soldier in the Mexican Navy (Marina), was seen as a threat by many in the area, earning him more enemies than respect. Ten years later, at the age of 17, Adrian received devastating news - his mother had been murdered by an unknown assailant. In the wake of this tragedy, his father urged him to leave Guatemala as soon as he finished school. Confused and angry, Adrian began searching for the truth - answers to the questions his father had always kept from him. At the same time, he tried to focus on his studies, considering a future in the Navy, just like his father. A year later, Adrian graduated, but his father was nowhere to be seen. Disappointment turned into resentment. The following day, still no sign of him. As Adrian sat in front of the television, a breaking news report flashed across the screen - members of a Mexican Navy unit had been arrested for working with the Sinaloa cartel. His father was among them. Stunned, Adrian rushed to the prison to confront him. That day, the truth came out - his father had been forced into cooperation with Sinaloa. When he initially refused, Adrian’s mother was killed, and he was given a final warning, either comply or lose his son too. Left with no choice, he followed their orders until the government finally caught up with him. At 19, Maldriano "Adrian" Cavalla entered military training at Heroico Colegio Naval, Mexico’s prestigious naval academy, where he spent five years climbing the ranks before earning a position in the Infanteria de Marina (Mexican Marine Corps). By August 10, 2021, a faction within the Mexican armed forces (including Adrian) was approached with an offer from the Los Zetas cartel. Knowing Los Zetas stood in direct opposition to Sinaloa, Adrian didn’t hesitate - his hatred for them ran too deep. For years, while serving in the military, he secretly aided Los Zetas in their war against their enemies, especially Sinaloa. But by 2023, the tides were turning, and Adrian saw what was coming - Los Zetas were on the verge of collapse, either at the hands of Sinaloa or the government. Unwilling to go down with them, he vanished, resigning from the military in the process. By 2024, he was unemployed, surviving on what remained of his earnings, slowly spiraling into drug addiction. But his past haunted him, and he eventually snapped himself out of it. In 2025, Maldriano Cavalla gathered the last of his money and crossed the Mexico-America border, setting his sights on Los Santos for a fresh start. But no matter where he went, his past and his grudge against Sinaloa would always follow him up.
