Gerald is the son of Anthony Rulfo and Chloe Evelyn. Gerald's father, Anthony, is a member of a motorcycle club in Los Angeles. And his mother, who does not work and only serves as a housewife, is what makes their family's economy decline drastically. Gerald's father, who is a member of a motorcycle club there, has a passion in the field of Harley motorcycle automotive or the like. He also works in his club's workshop and only from there can Gerald's father support his wife and Gerald himself. Finally, Gerald was sent to an elementary school in Los Angeles. After his father felt that Gerald was good at motorcycle mechanics, his father finally gave Gerald the capital to open his own workshop near his house. Gerald finally opened his own workshop not far from his house and the workshop was named Garry Garage. Gerry is Gerald's nickname. After Gerald opened the workshop, many customers repaired their motorbikes at the workshop. However, not long after Gerald opened the workshop, there was news from his mother that his father, Anthony, had died from being shot by an enemy from another motorcycle club which was an enemy of Gerald's father's motorcycle club. Gerald lost his way towards his life goals. Not long after his father died, Gerald's workshop was quiet and there were no customers, causing Gerald's workshop to go bankrupt. After Gerald thought for a long time, Gerald finally chose to move from Los Angeles and settle in Los Santos.
