Wyatt Schafer was born in the rusted shadows of Detroit, a city that knew hardship as intimately as it knew hope. His childhood was shaped by cold apartments and the hum of machines in the factory where his mother spent most of her life. She worked long hours just to scrape by, her hands calloused and her spirit worn thin. Wyatt’s father, a man more absent than present, walked out when Wyatt was barely old enough to say his name. His departure left a void that neither time nor explanations ever managed to fill. By the time Wyatt hit his teenage years, the streets had taught him more than any classroom ever could. Trust was dangerous. Survival wasn’t guaranteed. His world was one of cracked sidewalks and empty promises, where dreams faded as fast as graffiti under fresh paint. For Wyatt, the only constants were struggle and the slow-burning question of whether life held anything more for someone like him.
 

At fourteen, his path shifted. He fell in with a group of older boys who carried themselves like they had the answers to everything. They were skinheads, but it wasn’t just about the look. They offered him something he didn’t realize he was starving for: belonging. For a kid who’d spent his life feeling invisible, the allure was irresistible. Joining them wasn’t a decision Wyatt made lightly, but it felt like the only choice he had. In their circle, he found pride. He found purpose. For a while, it felt like enough. But as Wyatt grew older, the cracks in that purpose began to show. The group’s pride masked a darker truth, one built on anger and a refusal to see the world beyond their own bitterness. The camaraderie he once cherished turned into something colder, and the beliefs they upheld began to feel more like a cage than a creed.
 

Now, at eighteen, Wyatt finds himself at a crossroads. Life in Detroit has pushed him to his limit, and he’s made the decision to leave it behind. He’s arrived in Los Santos with nothing but a duffel bag and a fractured sense of self. The city is loud, sprawling, and indifferent, but to Wyatt, it’s also a chance—a slim, fragile chance—to rebuild. Every day in Los Santos is a balancing act between who he was and who he wants to be. The streets are different, but the lessons remain the same: survival is a fight, and trust doesn’t come easy. Wyatt doesn’t know if this city will be his redemption or his downfall, but for the first time in his life, the choice feels like it’s his to make. He’s eighteen, with a past he can’t escape and a future he’s still trying to figure out. Wyatt Schafer isn’t looking for miracles—just a chance to prove he’s more than the life he left behind.
