Uzi was born in a lower middle class black neighborhood. Uzi's father was a newspaper delivery worker in the city and his mother was a hair stylist at one of the salons near their house, since childhood Uzi was a child who was difficult to manage and felt his head had also begun to fall in with the naughty children in their housing complex. Uzi was always invited to do naughty things with teenagers there such as stealing from small shops and rioting. Uzi was a problem child both outside and at school, often Uzi fought and made noise at his school, people at his school saw Uzi as a violent person and he was feared because he brought his outside attitude into the school environment. Uzi's parents are often called because of the trouble Uzi makes, his father also often looks after him but Uzi remains stubborn. Uzi was once locked up for a week in the basement by his parents and forbidden to come out, during his boredom in the basement Uzi often wrote lyrics to rap songs that he thought of himself. At the age of 16, Uzi started looking for ways to earn money quickly. He met Malik, who started teaching Uzi to sell cocaine in small sizes. Uzi began to follow Malik who often dealt with addicts, Uzi learned many things from Malik and began to join a group of street gangsters who often gave him jobs. A year after Uzi collected a lot of money, in that year his friend Malik was shot by another gang who was having problems with their gang, Uzi felt he lost his close friend, the money Uzi collected he used to buy a glock and take revenge 3 days after the burial of Malik's body. That very night, Uzi left Compton and his family, in a panic he ran far away and started a new life in the city of Los Santos, The money he collected was enough to buy a small apartment around Willowfield but not enough to support him while there, Uzi began to fall again into the life of a street gangster with new friends in the city and started everything from scratch.
