Reports of increased crime in the Crenshaw region at the time were rife with local gang conflicts. As the oldest of three siblings following Asaad, DeAndre, Dominic. Asaad was born into a family that was economically struggling. He felt that life was unfair to impoverished individuals like him and his family because he had fantasized of living a glamorous and luxurious life since he was a little child. Asaad, who grew up in a challenging neighborhood, developed resilience as a result of early exposure to the worst aspects of life, including drug trafficking and the widespread sale of illicit firearms. His surroundings deteriorated as he approached adolescence. To increase the size of their extensive drug distribution networks, a number of local gangs joined forces. As a result, it was simpler for Asaad to obtain and disseminate these illicit products. Asaad was dismissed from junior high school when he and his companion Tyrese Vaughn were found to be selling drugs on school property. Soon after, a prominent member of Seville’s gangs' merged criminal organization acknowledged them as important assets. It was recently revealed that the top Seville criminal boss was arrested by the police when he was hiding. Tyrese and Asaad were recognized as the new leaders shortly after. Asaad saw that he needed to take their organization to a higher level of seriousness, which included making sure everything ran smoothly, protecting the supply routes for illegal substances and weapons, and increasing their power.
