Zarine is the child of Mrs. Agnez and Mr. Victor. At the age of 3, Zarine lost her mother because her mother had breast cancer, and at that time, Zarine felt very sad because she lived alone with her father. When Zarine was 6 years old, her father enrolled her in school, and Zarine also had a good friend at school named Nala. Nala was the child of the richest person in San Francisco. Nala and Zarine became friends on the first day of school, and they always played together at school. Before going home from school, Zarine and Nala said goodbye to each other. As soon as she got home, Zarine approached her father to talk about her activities at school. After telling the story, Zarine went to her room and sat on the chair. Zarine saw a photo of her mother on the study desk and felt sad remembering her mother's struggles. Zarine then continued to rest in her room to avoid getting tired. Night fell, and Zarine approached her father to ask about dinner. It turned out her father hadn't cooked dinner because there were no ingredients to cook with. Zarine then asked for money to buy food, but her father didn't have any money to buy food. Zarine tried to find money at night, wandering around her village to look for money to buy food. However, Zarine didn't get any money because no one was willing to give her any. And Zarine pondered on the roadside until she thought about how to get money for dinner. After pondering, Zarine continued home because she was tired. On the way home, a man approached Zarine and asked her why she looked so tired. The man took Zarine to the nearest restaurant because she was very tired. He ordered a lot of food for her, and Zarine was satisfied after eating. Zarine thanked the man for helping her. Zarine continued her journey home. Upon arriving home, Zarine went to her father's room to bring him food, and it turned out her father had fainted in his room because he hadn't had dinner. Zarine sought help around the house to assist her father. Neighbors came to Zarine's house to help her father, who was unconscious. Her father was then taken to the hospital. Upon arriving at the hospital, the doctor checked Zarine's father's condition, and it turned out that he had died due to delayed eating. Zarine was sad because her father had passed away, and she had to survive without both parents. At the age of 20, Zarine bid farewell to the villagers of her hometown to go to Los Santos, as Zarine wanted to continue her education in Los Santos and find a job there.
