Although born in a foreign land for him, Kenichi's parents named Satoru Ryuji and Yukie Miyamoto, are a Japanese couple who have just moved to America for Satoru's job as an engineer in the United States. They hope to provide a better life for their child in a new country, the United States. Kenichi, who was born in an American hospital, received an official identity as a citizen of the United States. When Kenichi was 10 years old he took a school in Miami, United States. He went to school there every morning being dropped off by his father who also went to work as an engineer, Kenichi spent his days alone without being accompanied by his friends due to differences in race and ethnicity, he was always alone at school, when he was daydreaming alone he was approached by a child named Kotaro Fukushima, he got acquainted with the child and became close because they experienced the same fate. Not long after that when Kenichi often played with the child they became very close to the point that they had the same ideals, namely to become good police officers. 8 years passed they were very close with their friendship and at that time they had just graduated from high school, but Kotaro had bad news at that time he was told by his parents to continue his higher education but not with Kenichi he chose to continue his ideals by attending military school in Washington D.C. That night was the farewell night for them since 8 years ago they were close and friends, at that time Kenichi was very sad because he was left by his best friend Kotaro. Not long after that Kenichi immediately packed his things and he flew to Washington D.C to continue his military school there. 8 months passed Kenichi got the news that his close friend Kotaro died from being shot by robbers when he was about to go home after college, of course bad news for Kenichi he was very sad at that time and he had to wait 2 more months so he could finish his military school and go home to visit his friend's grave. 2 months later when Kenichi had just graduated from his Military school he immediately packed his things and flew to Miami to visit his old friend's grave, when he arrived there he was really sad and couldn't do anything. 1 month passed Kenichi always routinely went to his friend's grave when he was there he always prayed that he could realize his dream of becoming a good Policeman there.
