Mykisha Love and Shakur Mostafa are Rasheeq Mostafa's parents. Their family lives in Los Angeles at Jordan Downs public housing, 102nd street. Rasheeq Mostafa was born into a low-income family or can be called the lower economic class. His father was only a convenience store employee in the area and his mother was only a housekeeper. However, Rasheeq Mostafa's parents tried to give Rasheeq the best education for his future. When Rasheeq was in high school at the age of eighteen, Rasheeq joined a group of teenager from same school with him in Jordan Down Park. As a result of the gathering at the place, Rasheeq Mostafa's living environment immediately turned into a corrupt environment, some of the youth there were always playing gambling, using drugs and even selling drugs. The neighborhood where Rasheeq Mostafa lived with his family was a neighborhood with a medium criminal presentation where almost every week there would be shootings, arrests, and even robberies. Rasheeq Mostafa was influenced by his friends, although he was not too involved in the neighborhood, Rasheeq was still able to control himself in committing unreasonable acts. As the years went by Rasheeq Mostafa's father was shot dead as a result of fighting off robbers at night in the market, knowing this made Rasheeq feel sad and grieved.Rasheeq Mostafa now only lives with his elderly mother, Rasheeq took the initiative to make money through any means to support himself and his mother. One day when Rasheeq's mother was taking an evening walk in the area his mother was robbed by 2 black men wearing masks, knowing this he saw firsthand not far from the small park near the public house, Rasheeq ran and pulled out a Glock from his waist and shot one of the robbers, he continued to shoot several bullets at the robbers until one robber lay on the street and the other managed to escape, Rasheeq approached his mother and helped his mother to immediately go home and enter their residence to be safe. Rasheeq Mostafa went outside with his Glock in his right hand and asked his friends for help in finding the other robber who might still be nearby. After a while the police arrived, knowing this, Rasheeq and his two friends ran as fast as they could by covering themselves with hoodies and they ran apart, Rasheeq ran towards the small street behind the public housing and hid behind piled up boxes, while his two friends were there. who ran into the housing complex and there were those who hid near the Jordan Downs park area. After some time passed, the police one by one left the area after finding the robber who died as a result of being shot by Rasheeq.Rasheeq Mostafa returned to his original state and was always in the park around the public housing complex with his friends to organize their business and manage their finances, even so they always found several enemies from other areas who were always looking for trouble. Sometimes Rasheeq Mostafa shot them without hesitation.At the age of two-twenty-three, Rasheeq Mostafa already had one criminal record in November for the shooting he and his friends did of people who were looking for trouble with Rasheeq Mostafa and his friends around East Compton, Atlantic Ave. But Rasheeq Mostafa got a short time in jail after making bail for five thousand dollars.
