AErials Posted October 29, 2024 Posted October 29, 2024 (edited) Francis Tillman Francis, 40, a fine brown, 5'11", with thick beard middle aged man, born in 31 October 1984, was sick of his life in Washington D.C. A place where he grew up is changing into something that he didn't feel comfortable anymore. His only kid hate his guts because of him being absent as a father. He is a working class men living in a rural area 35 minutes from the heart of D.C, his job as a cleaning guy in one of D.C local government building didn't paid him enough that he needs to also flip burgers in one of the big chains in order to survive and paid for the child support that he obliged to. He understand that his career is going nowhere even after 15 years because it was a favor given by one of the federal agent in excange of information about the D.C Blacks, an organized african-american crime group that works alongside the Black Mafia and helping them circulate drugs across D.C and its nearest state, starting gang wars against their ideological enemies, and making political rallies during the late 2000. He got tangled up with the D.C Blacks during his teenage years, there was time where he aspire to be a rapper back when he was 15, but making a record wasn't a cheap thing that he can pay easily. One of his school friend was affiliated with the gang through relatives and seeing the talent that Francis got, he introduced Francis with one of the gang high-ranks and ask for some money. One thing lead to another, once Francis tasted the trifecta of the gang lifestyle that is drug, money, and power, he abandon his school and dream of being a rapper instead he choose to climb the gang hierarchy. He spend around 10 years with the D.C Blacks operating as rallies organizator while also dealing drugs and illegal firearm on the side until the witch hunt by the FBI begin. By then, he was already a wanted man, and he got caught along with another 12 member of the gang during a rallies not long after and charged with felonies. As a member of D.C Blacks though he never participate in any kind of murder, Francis met many ex-felons who got out of prison to help them set their foot outside the prison but mostly not being able to refunction properly in civilized society and choosing suicide instead. Upon seeing that kind of fate bestowed many ex-felons, it scared him. The realization that he is not as "thug" as he tought he is, and to be jailed was never on his plan. He offers himself to cooperate in exchange of protective custody and guaranteed lower to no time (depending on the information) to the law enforcer and they took it without giving it a second thought because the investigation is going through deadlocks. Thanks to his information, the D.C Blacks was succesfully neutralized and many of the high-ranks was caught red handed, though most of the lower ranks were moving to West Coast following the Black Mafia in a hope for protection from the FBI, it was one of successful FBI operation against gangs/mafias. Knowing that he has some sort of contribution in that, he was bargaining for no time and clean slate as he was the one who took the initiative to cooperate, he succesfully spun the narratives that he was a witness who needs to be protected and not an accused felon in the eye of the court, the judges agrees and stopped his case from going to the trial. And with that, he was a free adult with almost non-existent education background and no experience in legal and professional job. Luckily, there's one particular federal agent that worked with him during the case and took a liking into him. He helped Francis get the cleaning job through connections of him. Nowadays, his life was miserable enough for a 40 years old men, he was flipping burger in the morning and cleaning toilets in the evening, changes was necessary. On one free morning, he decide to trim his hair and also hang in the local barbershop that he regularly go. While there, he met with a new barber who just came from Los Santos. They chat about many things until afternoon came and Francis was convinced by the barber that he got a chance of new life in Los Santos, by night, he hopped on to the last flight to Los Santos, bringing not much saving, a small case of clothes, and leaving his hometown and also, his past.
