  Nathan Kroosty stepped out of his flat on a quiet afternoon, simply looking to buy dinner. The cold city air was slowly creeping in, but his mind was focused on one thing: satisfying his rumbling stomach, as he hadn't eaten all day. After walking a few blocks to the car park, he checked his thin wallet and decided to stop by the ATM to withdraw some cash he had set aside for the coming days. Unbeknownst to him, from the moment he entered the ATM, a pair of dark eyes had been watching from a distance. A man with malicious intent was observing, waiting for the right moment to make his move. Oblivious to the lurking danger, Nathan continued on to his favorite restaurant, bought his meal, and tucked the rest of the money into his wallet.
  As Nathan exited the restaurant, the atmosphere around him began to shift. The once-crowded streets had become deserted, with only the whistle of the wind and the dim glow of the streetlights accompanying him. Still, he carried his food toward his flat, unaware of the growing tension. After parking his car, he quickened his pace, eager to get home before the unease in the air intensified. But as he neared a small alley close to the parking lot, his steps faltered. A man on a motorcycle, wearing a black helmet, approached him swiftly and threatened him by brandishing a gun. Nathan froze, his heart pounding. He wanted to run, but his legs felt like they were weighed down by invisible chains. The cash he had just withdrawn made him a clear target.
  Without hesitation, the robber pursued the now panicked Nathan, who fled toward a darker, deserted street. In the end, a gunshot rang out, and Nathan collapsed to the ground. The attacker showed no mercy, brutally assaulting him. The money he had worked to protect lay scattered around him, a silent witness to the tragedy. In the quiet of the night, Nathan Kroosty took his final breath, alone, with no one to witness how his life had been taken far too soon.
