Matthew “Matt Money” Cestone born on October 19th in 1995 to full-blooded Italian Parents who moved to Los Santos from Liberty City before Matthew was even born. Being an Italian always exerted a strong stigma covering Matthew’s daily life. He was assumed to be unfriendly and hard to handle. Matthew’s childhood was never easy, He lost his mom to breast cancer, he grew up apart from a basic affection and attention that should have been provided by the household he lives in. Matthew’s father Gerald “Garry” John Cestone was a small-time criminal, an associate in a small but tightly knitted criminal crew residing in the South Central side of Los Santos. Due to his father's massive influence in the household Matthew schooled the street way. He knows how to make money on his end, and knows how to carry himself to overcome trials and tribulation. 

 

Around 2007 Matthew lost his father figure, as his dad collared to San Andreas Correctional Facility for two counts of Armed Robbery along with first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison which is considered as indirect death-row and major blow to Matthew’s teenage years. The circumstance left Matthew with his younger sister without a parental figure to lead their life to a better future. Matthew and his younger sister then relocated to his uncle from his mother's side named Nicodemo “Nicky Mustard” Testa who earned his nickname and moniker after he robbed a hotdog stall and sprayed mustard right on the face of his victim. Nicky Mustard is also a small-time criminal but slightly smarter than Matthew’s dad, he is also connected with a serious figure inside the mob. 

 

Nicky Mustard introduced Matthew to his criminal ring, utilizing his young and naive nephew to do the dirt for him. Matthew used to run an errand for Nicky, a small-errand which he counted as a test to mold him up to be a real stand-up guy. The errand varied from collecting money and vigorish around the street of Glenn Park to trapping drugs around Matthew’s highschool. Matthew produced enough cash for a young man his age that way. By the time Matthew finished his highschool, his uncle Nicky Mustard stopped giving him the test and gave Matthew his freedom to make his own bone. Matthew then picked a cleaner life, working here and there as long as the money he made is legal. He applied to Fusco’s Moving and Storage as the company driver, he’s also a part of Ocean Docks’ licensed forklift driver.
