Khai Imanuel, A Cambodian was came to life on 9 February 2005, within the lively area of Willowfield, Los Santos. Even as a young boy, there were things that were difficult for him. When Khai was just three years old, an increasingly strained marriage between his parents reached its wildest point at the end they went their separate ways which marked the end of the family they once were. Days of running around in the park with friends and family were lost in the sea of constant and bitter fights followed by gloomy periods of silence. Khai was often retreating into himself and his toys creating beautiful places where nothing ever went wrong unlike in real life. He coped up well with the new normal of seeing his parents in turns-two split holidays and two alternating weekends always with one parent but it was emotionally grabbing. However, as Khai grew older, so did his resilience and hope cuddling with his mother’s presence and waiting for my father’s short visits with dreams of family reconciliation.

 

The most shocking event in Khai’s life occurred when he was six years old his parents were at it again and got married to each other once more. Khai’s parents’ wedding was held at her mother’s house and was not rich, rather filled with the decoration of flowers and sounds of laughter. It was an event of happiness for the little Khai, a memory that put all the broken pieces of his world back in the right places. Both of Khai’s parents were serious about their marriage and therefore, they began to concentrate on raising Khai in a healthy and caring household. He flourished in his new circumstances and entered school happily making friends whom he knew he would keep for a long time. By high school, Khai had become an all-round student who was determined to achieve much and was also compassionate. He conclusively paid attention to his studies as well as staying involved in extracurricular activities so as to make people happy despite the storm inside him from his childhood.

 

In his second year in college, Khai took on some part time work at Pizza Stack in the Idlewood neighborhood and this quickly became a turning point in his life. The lively pizzeria was like home to him, away from study, where he came in contact with different kinds of people. The position was very natural to him who had all this time been at home and interested in activities such as preparing and selling pizza, as well as serving customers. Be it as it may, working in a close-knit community instilled him with values of cohesion and carrying out his responsibilities in a timely manner, whereas the night duties relieved him from any school-related burden and tension or any domestic stress. Doing a balancing act of school and work, Khai found a purpose in cooking more than just food to eat he wanted to create something. A culinary artist came to live inside him, and he began to play with the food and dared to entertain the idea of owning a place. When analyzing his teenage years, it was easy to ascertain that for Khai, the hardship of early life has been quickly turned around and translated into goals which for the most part means that it isn’t always dark at the beginning.
