     Early life of Lamel Wyhte was born on June 17, 2007, in Stockton, California. Lamel is the second child of Markeith "Keith" Wyhte, a former gang hustler who's worked as a shopkeeper at the liquor shop, and Ladonna Rudd, a hairdresser who previously worked as a full-timer in a beauty shop. Lamel was not the only child; before he was around, Keith and Adonna had a first child, Kionta Wyhte. Both of his parents are African Americans from the South Side of Chicago; over their financial situation, they relocated to Stockton for a job to begin their family shop business. Lamel and the Wyhtes family lived in Section 4 housing, reliant on government programs from low-income families to help maintain the family's life necessities.

 

     Lamel soon grew up with his brother Kionta in their typical black community neighborhood along with the local kids, although the neighborhood is still fairly dangerous, as the local crimes have often occurred over years with gang violence, drugs, and robberies. Despite suffering hardships, Lamel was raised secular; he occasionally attended church services and was taught the Bible by his grandmother. In school, Lamel was a quiet and observant student who excelled academically and had a noticeable stutter. Until he turned in his mid-teens, Lamel was mostly brought up by his father, but on the other hand, his mother is the one who educated him in a different way, with much love and care. soon became heavily involved in gang culture, which led to numerous health scares and encounters with the police. A couple years later, he was baptized and converted to Christianity following the death of a friend. To not burden his family finances, he worked as a part-time fast food attendant, purchasing his lifestyle needs.

 

     Many things happened to Lamel and his family for a long time. Kionta was tangled in a link between the gang affiliates within the neighborhood, effectively involving him inside an association. Having dozens of charges and criminal records and having been several times in and out of prison. Markeith doesn't like his son's doings, and Kionta always gets beaten by his own father after his actions. To create Kionta's character development, Markeith sent Kionta to the military school structure, which provides a consistency that helps his son develop essential life skills such as responsibility, accountability, discipline, and lastly, self-motivation. Eventually Markeith's business at the liquor store goes bankrupt due to some issues, and they soon have to close their business. Lamel's family struggled with their finances; consequently, Markeith got a call from his cousin for a job, and then Lamel's parents decided to move from the Stockton, California neighborhood.
