     Jahmiah Bates is an African American man who was born in Los Santos, United States of America. He was born on January 1, 2007. Bates lived his days in an environment that was quite violent for his youth. This was made worse when he lost both of his parents in a plane crash when he was still a child. As a result, he was only cared for by his grandmother, who lived in a house in the Playa de Sevilla area. He also grew up with the kids who lived in the playa. They often got into mischief in the area, ranging from vandalism, theft, and others. This made Bates increasingly recognized by the people around his house. 

 

     Bates has a partner named Josh. Josh is a childhood friend of Bates, where they are always partners in crime. But one day in October, while they were out doing their usual vandalism, Josh was unexpectedly bitten by a stray dog in the area. At first, Josh thought it was just an ordinary bite and just washed it off with water. But unexpectedly, after 1 month passed, Josh began to feel strange, he often had fever and was afraid of water. Josh was finally examined at the hospital, and it turned out that Josh had rabies, and it was impossible to treat. Soon after, rabies took Josh's life. As a close friend of Josh's, Bates was devastated by the incident. 

 

     It changed Bates' perspective, made him more confident, and he began to have his own ambitions and ideologies, so Bates began to focus on looking for bigger business opportunities, and he thought of looking for more relationships in his neighborhood around Playa de Sevilla, because he felt that it would be very difficult to realize his ambitions alone. He began to look for ways to organize what he needed to do. But there was an obstacle, because Bates' grandmother was getting old and needed a lot of guidance from him. So Bates has to take care of his grandmother at home, because his grandmother is also his living family who has taken care of him since childhood.
