Eagen Ruadhan was born on January 1, 2005. a 19-year-old  London, United Kingdom, has always felt like he was born on the wrong side. You learn quickly from the back streets of East London that life never gives a handout to those who do not have what it takes to just take. Working-class roots as the youngest child of a poor family, Eagen had to fight for everything in his life. He was a more observant child. He saw the streets come to life and felt respect through intimidation and brief exchanges in alleyways how people made their mark on the world. This was the life to which he felt in some as yet unnamed epistemological way that all lives were captive. It was rough, risky, and very much alive; all things he felt had gone out of his own life.

 

Eagen fell in with a bad crowd at his school, Rochester High School. He felt like he belonged for once. His parents were burdened and indifferent, too busy each dealing with their own demons to notice the trail of breadcrumbs he was leaving behind. He only attended school because he had to, and when he was in class, his attention span seemed more drawn towards whatever was happening elsewhere. His cohort in crime was Noah, Eagen's best friend. They had been friends more or less since high school, uniting over their collective anger at the man and mutual desire for a life far grander than they could ever live. If they weren't cutting class, then running the streets, challenging other street toughs in the neighborhood that some of my friends couldn't return to for fear of what might have happened you know, when you're at school and a buddy gets into it with someone from down your way; who knows where he ends up after? Noah was a school friend of Eagen's and had already been working the streets. In Eagen's eyes, Noah was everything he dreamed of: bold, admired, and invincible. Noah had the contacts, a legacy to live up to, and the life that Eagen craved. What he saw when looking at Noah was freedom the autonomy to make a niche for himself in his world, where no one could tell him what or how but they only hush.

 

Eagen was 18 when he moved in with Noah into a small, battered apartment. The place wasn't much, but to Eagen, it was the beginning of a new life. The apartment became their headquarters, a war room from which to act and hole up when it all got too much. Petty thefts, light drug dealing, and errands with local neighborhood thug Noah. Not exactly a lot, but it was enough to Eagen get that warm feeling that I think we're going in the right direction here. But it was tough living on the streets. It did not take Eagen long to understand that the respect he wanted was going to cost him deeply. He was in danger, and he had to be careful every minute of the day with his fight or flee instinct. The streets were a killer; one mistake and it took you out. But the adrenaline was dangerous, and it felt like power. And it felt more alive than he ever had before. However, undeterred by this threat of danger, Eagen planned to step up the ladder and start his own gang made from all the kids in that apartment. Did he want the scraps, or did he want every bit of it? He took more responsibility, played the game on a whole new level, and began to get noticed. Step by step he walked, and with each one the stakes got higher, every footfall lessening his chances of surviving more than they were to be The End. Eagen walked a tightrope, and he suspected that one false step could send him falling into a chasm from which there might be no return. However, if there were dangers in the life he had chosen, they were nothing compared to the joys. He was crazy about the power, respect, and freedom that came with living this life. He was even willing to lose everything, because in his mind he would lose everything too. Life as a street thug was all he had ever hoped for, and he would enjoy it to the fullest wherever he went. After a few years he decided to settle in Los Santos and became an immigrant from the United Kingdom to continue his education.
