His early life was filled with poverty and just at the age of 18, his parents had to leave him for good after being involved in a chain-reaction accident. Upon hearing of the tragedy, his uncle, who had been living in Los Santos for a long time, decided to bring Kevin there in hopes of giving him a better life. The move is not only a new beginning for Kevin, but also a big challenge that he has to face alone in a tough and crime-ridden city. Upon arriving in Los Santos, Kevin found out the bitter truth about the uncle who brought him to the city. Because the uncle who took him to the city who was supposed to guide Kevin, suddenly disappeared without any news. Kevin, who was still unstable about the city, was confused about what he had to do to survive there. Therefore, he tried to survive there, starting from selling specialties that he brought from Cambodia, picking up trash and selling it to garbage collectors, and becoming a delivery driver. However, it wasn't enough for him to survive. As time went by, Kevin realized that he had to think about how he could survive there, he continued to rack his brains so that he could survive there. After thinking of many opportunities, he felt that there was no other way out, he tried to enter the criminal world because the city was a paradise for criminals, he also tried to carry out criminal activities ranging from robbing civilians, selling stolen cars, and smuggling illegal goods. In accordance with his expectations, he earned a lot of money from the illegal work, although haunted by regret, Kevin continued to carry out illegal activities so that he could survive in the city of Los Santos which is known for its violence and high crime rate.
