The series depicts the aftermath of the Great War of 2077, an apocalyptic nuclear exchange in an alternate history of Earth where advances in nuclear technology after WWII led to the emergence of a retrofuturistic society and a subsequent resource war. Many survivors took refuge in fallout bunkers known as Vaults, unaware each Vault was designed to perform psychological experiments on the Vault Dwellers. 219 years later in 2296, a young woman named Lucy leaves behind her home in Vault 33 to venture out into the dangerously unforgiving wasteland of a devastated Los Angeles to look for her father, who had been kidnapped. Along the way, she meets a Brotherhood of Steel squire and a ghoul bounty hunter, each with their own mysterious pasts and agendas to settle.

Buat gua pribadi, series ini 9/10. Shot, cinematic, angle, casting, everything is perfect.

 

Well-executed banget untuk segala aspeknya, kaya dari detail-detail kecil yang diadaptasi dari game aslinya yang di mana ada di awal scene (saat Lucy mau married, secara gak langsung ngunjukin S.P.E.C.I.A.L.-nya), kode peluncuran cold fuse yang tanpa kita sadari itu merupakan tanggal perilisan game pertama Fallout, dan lain-lainnya yang gabisa gua kasih tau karena takutnya malah spoiler.

 

Sukses membuat gua gak sabar untuk nunggu season kedua dengan scene-scene di episode terakhir. Masih bisa banget buat diulik dan dicari tau akan ke mana jalan cerita masing-masing dari karakter ke depannya. Recommended.
