Not having any friends could be tricky and would sometimes end on the bad side, but Rafael was lucky enough that he got into school and met another teenager of the same age and race as him. Even though his friends aren't that kind of guy, at least he could fit himself in the circle and ease up for a little while. At first, he was grateful that he could fit himself in, but seeing their actions, he's starting to turn a little skeptical. He saw his friends rob, drink, and break the law in the open, and that really made him uncomfortable. Though he knew he should get away from that circle, he couldn't find anywhere else besides this one. He sure wanted a good life and to live a normal life as a student, but the second he thought about his friends, he knew it wasn't possible. And if he wanted to walk out of his comfort zone, he knew he had to face the fact that this city is full of racists, and that really got him. He kept thinking about it but always ended up on a dead end, as he was burning and stressing out. At a moment, an idea snapped out of his mind: why doesn't he just try to fit in? He couldn't keep going in a circle, so he knew he had to make a step, which he did. He tried to break the law with his friends, he tried to enjoy his life with his friends, and he tried to face the fact that life isn't going as he wished. And there he is, being a complete asshole, just like his friends. This felt wrong at first, but as each hour, day, and month passed, he started to fall into another comfort zone.
