He was a diligent individual born into a mixed Asian and American family, demonstrating great respect for his friends. He also held a position of influence in a street gang in the Los Flores area, commonly referred to as the Asian Housing Project. One afternoon, while Garrick was deep in his nap, he had a disturbing dream about himself that startled him awake, leaving his body drenched in sweat. Simultaneously, he remembered his responsibilities outside. Quickly getting up, he headed to the kitchen to prepare a meal, getting ready for work. After cooking, he took a moment to eat while watching television. As the clock struck 6:30, he hurriedly left his house and hopped on his motorcycle. Midway through his journey, he encountered an old friend, Jovan Ponleak, and took the opportunity to catch up. However, Garrick suddenly sensed that something was amiss with Jovan. Out of the blue, Jovan brandished his weapon, startling Garrick and leaving him bewildered about what was happening. Jovan pointed his gun at Garrick, explaining that he had no other choice but to kill him to settle his debts. In an attempt to diffuse the situation, Garrick offered to help Jovan, but impatience got the better of Jovan. Without warning, he fired several shots into Garrick's body. Garrick collapsed, bleeding profusely. Jovan, with care, carried him to a secluded place where no one could witness the scene. There, he left Garrick to succumb to his injuries, a tragic end to a life marked by the betrayal of a trusted friend. The tragic death of Garrick Rithisak tells a bitter tale of betrayal by a close friend, illustrating how trust and friendship can be shattered by personal interests. For those who knew him, Garrick will always be remembered as a hardworking and respectful individual, leaving unanswered questions about the hidden darkness behind someone's everyday facade.
