Matsumoto or commonly known as Matsumoto, was the fortunate son of a husband and wife. Hideo his father's name, worked diligently as a manager at a construction company, meanwhile his mother's name is Emiri, his mother owned a clothing store. Throughout his early years, Matsumoto resided in an affluent environment, where his family enjoyed considerable prosperity. His childhood was characterized by indulgence, and his parents genuinely cared for him. Matsumoto also is an energetically playful child, reveled in the joys of his upbringing. But one day, a fate took a cruel turn when his father succumbed to a heart attack during work, casting a profound sadness upon Matsumoto family. As the days following his father's demise unfolded, economic hardship befell the family. The entirety of his father's inheritance had been generously donated to an orphanage, leaving Matsumoto family in dire straits. His mother, burdened with sorrow and resentment towards her deceased husband, faced mounting debts. As time passed, the financial strain took a toll on Matsumoto mother, leading her into a state of temperamental despair. And then one fateful day, Matsumoto awoke to the harsh reality that his mother had abandoned him, vanishing from their home forever. By the age of 19, Matsumoto is on bereft of familial ties, transforming into a notably mischievous youth who delighted in causing trouble with his friends. In a regrettable incident, Matsumoto and his friends attempted to rob a shop near the port, only to be apprehended by the vigilant shop owner. A confrontation ensued and in a stroke of ill fortune, Shigeo inadvertently fatally stabbed the shop owner with a samurai blade. They panicked and fearing of the imprisonment, Matsumoto friends deserted him at the scene. Matsumoto alone and desperate in the scene but he clandestinely ran over and boarded a container ship, where he survived for approximately three weeks by consuming whatever sustenance he could find. To his astonishment, when Shigeo awoke one morning but he discovered he had arrived in the United States of America, specifically in San Fierro. To get survive and avoiding the Security on the ship, Matsumoto fled in fear of apprehension by local authorities. He just walked alone after his escape and eventually disoriented and lost in the city of Los Santos.
