Joule Posted December 21, 2023 Posted December 21, 2023 (edited) Joule_Doe For 43-year old Joule Doe, a typical everyday person like most bus drivers Perhaps behind the curtain of darkness are countless colored lights. Still it seems impossible to see this wrinkled countenance with its weary eyes as anything but extaraordinarily perfect. But it's done him good nevertheless to be able sometimes at a bit past three to pull on the overalls and drive the bus for some evening change. Its just this sort of monwtonous routine finding relief in the dark. A way to escape reality, alike with all others he finds peace at rest. However, Joule`s life is not entirely defined by this day to-day hustle and bustle. It seems there is someone who used to be his friend, but led him into the dark depths of society. Alongbside this friend, Joule is caught up in a world of crime, Committing crimes, trafficking in narcotics, and engaging with guns. Away from the bus driver self he projects, Joule is astute and one who has learned to move in shadows. Ironically enough, Joule is himself rather abnormal. If a crook like him can cooperate with the authorities to help arrest drug barons or illegal arms dealers, how can he refuse? Joule seizes the opportunity, taking a case as an undercbover informant. If his fellow crims can get into traps they set for themselves, then surely no great harm will come to him? In this move, however, Joule has also put his name on risk. This is how his life could be said to exist in two parallel worlds hostile each other. Even more vcital is the problem of normal identity, he has to hang on in there, but they are tajing him down and foremer underworld friends want their piece too--at a crucial hour when both sides want to straighten out.
