Bernie is the only child of a married couple from a poor family. Bernie never felt like his parents cared about him. Even to buy small snacks, he had to steal or beg. After he reached his teens, his parents left him at home alone. Without any sadness, Bernie continued his life as usual; he now even works in the pub around his house and earns money to live on from his job. After several months of working in the pub, Bernie was finally recognized by many people who often came to the pub. He was known as a strict and disciplined person. He often guarded the pub from street gangsters who didn't want to pay for a drink. Bernie's pub life continued until he was 18; then, when he thought about making more money than working in the pub, it was at that time that an Irish mobster interested him in doing small things for the syndicate. Bernie started his job by collecting security money for Irish syndicates in shops around Dublin. He was quite firm in carrying out his duties and produced some results that made the boss of the syndicate very proud of him. After several months of Bernie working as a money collector, he was transferred. After that, he just sits in the bar waiting for shop bills to be handed over to him, and then he will deliver them to his boss every month. In 2013, just when Bernie was 19 years old, the Irish mobster was taken down by Irish justice enforcers. At that time, Bernie was declared not guilty due to the lack of evidence of Bernie's involvement with the Irish mobster. Bernie, who is unemployed again, decides to use the money he has earned to go to Los Santos. Bernie's new life in a new city has begun.
