Melby Ralf was a 23-year-old man, living alone without any family. One day, Melby was enjoying the beauty of the night on an empty lot and seeking fresh air, eventually reaching the Los Santos airport parking lot. However, Melby preferred to take a stroll through the city of Los Santos, heading towards the hilly Vinewood area. Melby felt an unsettling presence, as if someone was following, but chose to think positively and dismiss any strange thoughts.

At one point, while Melby was passing through the Vinewood hills, his car was suddenly blocked by a member of the Los Santos cartel. It turned out they already knew that Melby was involved in drug dealing in the Los Santos cartel area. They stepped out of their car, pointing their weapons at Melby, who raised both hands. The cartel members demanded honesty from Melby, but he was reluctant to reveal the truth. In response, one of the cartel members shot Melby in the left chest, and he fell to the ground. The cartel member wanted Melby to confess why he was involved in drug dealing in their territory.

After some time, Melby finally admitted that he was selling drugs in the Los Santos cartel area because he had no money. This revelation angered the cartel, and as a consequence, Melby had to face the ultimate penalty: being shot in the head by one of the cartel members. Melby submitted to his fate, and the cartel member prepared to fire towards his head. After being shot in the head and losing his life, Melby's lifeless body lay on the road, and the cartel members left him behind.
