Latrell shouldn’t be labeled as an anti-social kid at his young age, but his mother forced Latrell to do so since he wouldn’t jump into the delinquent acts of violence, burglaries, extortions, fights, and other related crimes around his hood like others did. He has been very in touch with old-school R&B since he was a little, his music taste evolves and grows into a bigger pond of art taste. Alternative hip-hop was his choice, and Brockhampton was the first rap group that made him want to step up. Instead of choosing to be the frontman, he was inspired to be the guy behind the show like Romil Hemnani, HK, and Jabari Manwa. He runs as a sound engineer, sound designer, composer, and even an adlib dropper. Latrell Wilson dropped his first beat for a SoundCloud upcomer alternative hip-hop rapper named Ace, and produced by Latrell himself, mantled under the name Big W. The potential hit turned out to be a bust, but it didn’t stop Latrell from hustle his ass off, he makes a U-turn with his music, maintaining strong lyrics for every song he’s going to make. He really loves something meaningful, something that digs deeper meaning into the lyrics of each and every song he hears, and that’s the absolute turning point where Latrell finally sees that he’s also capable of being a lyric writer, not just a writer, but a good writer. Big W, which is the stage name of Latrell Wilson, dropped another song on the same streaming platform, SoundCloud. This time with a different artist, but the same way to go with Latrell. Latrell this time wouldn’t buy any complicated sound designs, wouldn’t go too far with the instrumentals, yet still have some catchy bars. He posted the song and expected nothing, but long story short, the song was well known in SoundCloud. He didn’t realize that he had just made a name for himself in the community.
