He lived with his grandfather because both of his parents had died in an accident. Because of that, Derrell became a very diligent person. wanted to teach Derrel to sew but Derrell never wanted to join in sewing because Derrell preferred automotive. After the departure of his grandfather, Butlers was very lonely and stressed. Because of that, Butlers tried to find peace by using cocaine and that made him seriously addicted to cocaine. Because of his addiction, Butlers became poor. Butlers realized that the money was running out. , but he got very little money from stealing it, he had the idea to scam cocaine sellers, he did the scam and succeeded, but it made him chased by the mafia, Butlers was tired of being chased by the mafia because it made him Butlers sold all the cocaine and used the money to head to the city of Los Santos.
