After the physician finish an physical examine, he decided to do some lab and blood works on Deshaun. Right after the result released, the doctor directly inivite Deshaun to his room and show him that there's some kind of indication of lung cancer because of an asbestos exposure on his lung, they can saw it trough from the chest x-ray. The doctor said that he would like to run a few more test before Deshaun leaving to confirm the diagnose, at the time Deshaun agreed because he knew that there is a bigger risk for him to get a lung cancer because he is a retired Firefighter. After a few hours of waiting, he started to get anxious and he decide to take off from the hospital and request the nurse to send the result through his E-mail. Deshaun rushes home and book a flight to get to San Andreas immediaty at that day, he thought that he could get away from the answer that he didn't want to hear. After landed on San Andreas at 3:00 AM he headed back to his home. Once he open his laptop, he saw the E-mail about his test result from the last hospital he visited. The result says that Deshaun got a lung cancer and the doctor ask him if he wants to run more test to see whether he is eligible to enter the chemo program or not. Deshaun didn't send any reply to that E-mail and leaves his house to take a walk. Tears started to falling apart as Deshaun running, he become upset knowing that he's going to die soon. After he felt tired, he decide to walk back home. Without him noticing, it's already 7 in the morning. To get a peace of mind, Deshaun started to project his anger by destroying every furniture, television, mirror because he was so pissed off by the diagnose. He took a deep breathe afterwards and try to recall about the cause of the asbestos exposure, turns out Deshaun first firefighter scene as Engineer is the cause of the lung cancer. It was a Fire Structure call on a warehouse they managed to pull all of the employee from the building but at that time Deshaun broke his SCBA Mask and the asbestos starts to falling, he didn't report it in at the time because he get out from the building safely and decide to take a win on that, after knowing the answer he decide to take a rest and sleeping most of the time. A few days later, he got a call from his friends, Eloise Forger, they already known each other for almost five years. Eloise always consider Deshaun as her younger brother and Deshaun doesn't have any problem with that. Deshaun always tried to protect Eloise from anything because he felt guilty after losing his best friend Serafina Mataya a long time ago. After picking up the call, Eloise notices there's something wrong so she asked Deshaun to meet as she had something to tell him too. Deshaun agreed on that and they decided to meet on Dilimore bar. Deshaun and Eloise trying to catch up since they haven’t met each other for ages and suddenly he heard the news about Eloise getting divorce and that makes him upset. His anger raises after knowing that someone hurt Eloise but he decided not to take any action and hold his anger. Deshaun didn't told his conditions to Eloise because he knew that she's already got too much on her plate. Later that night, Eloise invite Deshaun to a pizza restaurant grand opening, he accept the invitation because he want to cheer Eloise up. After the Grand opening, Deshaun finally brace himself to tell his condition to Eloise in his car. Eloise couldn't hold her tears knowing that his brother is in pain, Eloise asking for the treatment course but he told her that the doctor still need to run a few test and Deshaun tries to calmed Eloise down by telling how it can happend. Deshaun also ask Eloise to be his witness on DNR forms and Organ donation in case he didn't make it. After a long discussion and argument, Eloise agreed to sign as a witness on Deshaun DNR and Organ Donation under one condition, which is Deshaun must be in touch while he still around and Deshaun agreed on that. Several days later, Deshaun received his test result and turns out he didn't qualify to enter the chemo program because he's already on stage 4 or terminal. The doctor gave Deshaun prognosis and saying that he only have 1 month or less. For the second time, Deshaun world falling apart, he started to think about everyone else around him, and then he realize that he didn't have much time so he won't waste it. Deshaun decide to call one of his close friends from the San Andreas Fire Department named Samuel Wang to give the DNR forms and Organ Donations forms, they met at Dilimore Bar. They decided to catch up with another and after finish a few beers, Deshaun bring Samuel to his car to give the news and asking him to hold the forms. Samuel did not believe it at first, but after convincing Samuel that he's the only one that can holding up with this news, Samuel cooperate. Deshaun apologize to Samuel because he made him to do this and saying that "It's been a hell of a ride" with a smile on his face. The next day, Deshaun decided to spend the rest of his time with Eloise, they going out to a furniture shop and buy a few thing for a flat that she's working on and Deshaun land Eloise a hand and help her to moving the furniture. After finish with the furniture, they decide to have a chit-chat in the middle of the night near a lake. Deshaun always wanted to protect Eloise because he doesn’t want the same thing happend to Mataya happening to her, and now knowing that he couldn't protect Eloise anymore he feels useless. Eloise assure Deshaun that she’ll be fine, since she knew that Deshaun always gonna be with her and always protect her from afar. When they about to leave from the lake, Deshaun gave a warm hug towards Eloise and saying that everything gonna be fine even tough it's not. After leaving from the lake Deshaun conditions getting worst, so Eloise decide to drive him home. As soon as they arrived at Deshaun’s home, Eloise noticed there's to much broken furniture and wondering what happend, Deshaun remains silent but then he eventually told her that he couldn’t join a chemo program and he's only have 1 month time left. Tears started to falling apart from Deshaun but Eloise stood beside him and saying that they should make some good memories instead. Deshaun planned to take Eloise to visit Fire Station 34 the next day and she agreed on that, and then Deshaun take a nap after driving Eloise to her home. After Deshaun and Eloise made the promise, Deshaun feels excited to visit his old Fire House. While he was cleaning up his house there's someone sneeking from his back and knock him down after whip Deshaun head using a gun. After he wake up he saw there's one guy standing in front of him with a gun on his hand, and that guy started to introduce himself. Turns out the perpetrator is one of the mid-level drugs dealer that Deshaun ever arrest, he told Deshaun dan he's ruining everything that he have, he's blamming all the thing that happened to Deshaun. Deshaun told the perpetrator that he already ruin his life while trying to sell the dope. Deshaun try to make the stranger realize about what he did but there's nothing that can change his mind, he pulled the triger and shots Deshaun on his chest a few time and leave the scene. Deshaun bleeds out and knowing that he's gonna die his tears starts to falling apart. At the other side Eloise realize there's something wrong because Deshaun haven’t showed up after 30 minutes late. So, Eloise asked Newt to accompany her visit Deshaun’s house to check his conditions. After they arrived on Deshaun house they realize there's something going on and rushes inside. The duo freezes for some moment after they found Deshaun body laying on the ground with bloods around him. Heavens tries to checking on Deshaun condition but at the time Deshaun already loss big amount of bloods. Deshaun realize he's not gonna die alone at that night so he gave a last words and the last smile as his vision blurring and starts unconscious. Eloise started to freak out and cry, but then she gains her self-control back ashe she remembers Deshaun’s words. They both decide to honor Deshaun last wishes and they didn't performing any life procedure and contacts the hospital right away to schedule the organ harvest surgery. After a few hours, the mourge has been discharge Deshaun body and the duo decided to contact all Deshaun friends and relative to give the news. After all Deshaun’s relatives arrived at his house, Eloise leads the crowds and plan for his funeral. Eloise decided to burry Deshaun body beside Serafina graveyard. The funeral led by C. Patricia as she leads for the prayers and Samuel Wang be the one who give speech for Deshaun as his best friend. CK Screenshots: Bukti
