His dad was never present and his mother was generally considered unstable; bouncing between addictions and questionable choices in men. His extended family mostly resided within Davis and while not tight-knit, Jamba grew up with a small amount of community around him. Growing up Jamba's aunt was not working and was on disability, as such his household was on a fixed income and extras were few and far between. Like most kids his age Jamba caught a materialistic mindset; wanting the things he couldn't have and envisioning a lifestyle where one got what they wanted. he became envious and resentful of the constant wealth of Los Santos feeling like it was shoved in his face. Seeing his mom be dependent on both substances and men left a mark on Jamba, who decided he wanted to be able to provide for himself independently, not relying on a boyfriend/partner or anyone else. This desire for independence made him start to clash with authority, as his interest in following instructions that lead nowhere waned. By his mid-teens, Jamba had become somewhat quiet and reserved, with a bit more of a serious tone about him than most guys of his age. His attendance in school became spotty and his family hoped that this was simply a phase rather than a sign of future habits and patterns. This he has now put into practice, unfortunately, his hunger and Hobbies with which he structures his day remained the same, he has false role models and does not have enough patience to save money, he steals, fights with others, and often acts cooler than he actually is, He wants to become a true man, with his own idea of what makes a true man, a true man a Gangster, the "opposite" of his father, although quite similar.
