Living in a religious neighborhood, he learned things that he should do and things that he shouldn't do. He went to Los Santos to start a new life and hunt down the guy that started the shootings at St. Michael Church. Starting a new life in a country that he never touch is difficult for him. Days after days, he found a suitable job for him and then he applied to a Spa & Bar company called Kimochi as a bartender. Seen as a hard worker and loyal, one of the higher ups finds him suspicious and decided to give him some job to prove if he is loyal. James, still clueless, he did the job and they found nothing to doubt him. Many months have passed and after all the time he spends in Kimochi, he was promoted to Supervisor by the CEO of Kimochi. With that kind of privilege, he has access to the income and salary of Kimochi, he can do whatever he wants with that money. He spends some time collecting the money a little by little. He took a shoebox, filled the money in it. His old friend Pierre knows that James is trying to steal the money from the company, so Pierre got the idea to ask James to get some money for him so that he can pay his debt. Pierre got a debt from a diner house in Boston, Massachusetts with a total of 2500 dollar after he and his crew got drunk and accidentally makes the place a mess. Pierre gave him a advice on how to hide the money, he told James to bury it somewhere so that they can’t find it. James took the advice, he bury the shoebox behind a tree near the company. The day has come, he finally got the amount of money that he wanted. He went to the spot where he buried it and then dug it up. After he got the money, he contacted Pierre to tell him about it. Pierre then told him to look around for the guy who will collect his debt, but the guy never came. James came back to the spot and buried it back. A week later, he was asked by Mahmoud to hang out. He was told that he got a gift from Mahmoud, so he follows his instruction and still clueless that the company knows that James stole 20% of the money. He was taken to a isolated place, where no one will hear him. Mr. Fujiwara came to the place and asked him about the money he stole, but James didn’t said anything to him.
