  Mathias Henriksen, born in the 2nd of September 1981, is a 40 years old German who grew up in Leipzig. He is to be described as a calm, kind-hearted, liberal European adult by his friends and family who were together to see his coming-of-age. Mathias liked classical music and chamber orchestra performances, as his mother, Selena Henriksen, used to bring him and his older brother, Gunther, out to the local Leipzig Opera. Growing up, Mathias is fond of literature, as he likes to read philosophical and socialistic books written by European writers. His picture of "world peace" made him believe that defending democracy and freedom should be his life goal. Mathias would start his life out as an occasional youth activist in the streets of Berlin, where he went to study history at the University of Berlin in 1998. He and his friends would make anti-racist rallies against the growing Neo-Nazis in Germany. Growing up an athletic person, Mathias has no trouble in defending himself towards violent skinheads in his own country. This facade of activism, however, would not last long for Mathias. The Kosovo War broke out in 1999, and with Mathias already 18 years old, he enlisted in the Deutsches Heer (German Army) spending half a year training and another in active combat.

 

  No longer a university student like he used to be, Mathias would spend his early 20s fighting against what he believes to be a "threat to democracy". He would prove himself as a great, fierce, and capable soldier in the war, honorably discharged as a Zuerst Leutnant (First Lieutenant) at the end of the war in the year of 2000. Returning to Leipzig, he expected to find ordinary work and stood close to his brother and mother. However, in September 11, 2001, 4 airplanes were hijacked and crash landed onto United States landmarks. This caused the world allies to declare war on Middle Eastern countries, none other than Afghanistan. Mathias was offered to join the Kommando Spezialkräfte (Special Operations Command), Germany's most elite special forces unit, to participate in dismantling the Taliban forces in Afghanistan. Being a patriot, Mathias accepts the offer and went to war alongside the finest soldiers of Germany. He would go on to serve for 8 years, eliminating the country's top most wanted lists of terrorist targets. However, this experience would deeply affect and change Mathias as a person. The horrific terrors of war traumatized Mathias, painfully reminding him of all the dead bodies and special assassinations that he has to carry out for his country.

 

  He respectfully resigned from his work and returns to Leipzig only to find himself disturbed and uncalm in his own country, knowing that he has done atrocious things in the name of Germany. Aging more or less 30 years old at the time, Mathias couldn't stand his traumas anymore and decided to bring his mother and brother to move out to another country. The United States, an everlasting superpower at that time in 2011, caught Mathias's attention, immigrating to the City of Los Santos eventually. Living under bad conditions, Mathias has been struggling for more than 10 years in the city. Trying all sorts of work, he was responsible for his family's life. Coming to past 40 years old, Mathias, still a troubled but experienced war veteran, will develop a further change of character as he has no other way, than getting involved in crime.
