The name Turin was given by both parents because of his birth in the Italian city of Torino. His father was Jack Berlanti who was a bookstore owner in Toronto. And his mother is Peach Sallinger who was a nurse at the Torino hospital. From childhood, since childhood, Turin likes to read books because her father owns a bookstore.
