Nathan was born in a tough neighbourhood of El Corona, he never went to school and get a proper education his whole life, because he spends most of his life on the street surviving. Nathan is the only child in the Ojeda family, his father was known for his ruthless, and fearless personality around the neighborhood, people around the hood call him 'El Macho' due to his ruthless and agressive personality. Nathan was only raised by his father 'El Macho' his father ditched Nathan's mother because she was a drug addict, and he didn't like it. Nathan learned a lot from his father, he learned how to make money on the street, how to fight, how to survive, everything Nathan needs to know to survive, his father taught him already. Nathan always looked up to his father because his father is a perfect role model for him, 'El Macho' his father was known to be part of 18th street gang in El Corona back then, and he was also known as a higher rank in the gang, it means that people respect and fear him at the same time. And since Nathan's father was extremely respected and feared especially in the hood, Nathan also got respect from the hood. Nathan inhereted his father's personality, he is also an agressive person who likes to fight since he was young, and also determined to be like his father. So Nathan joined the same gang as his father at age 18, before that, he used to make money on the street too the way he learned from his father, so he got jumped into the gang at age 18. Nathan spent his life in the gang making money, he is also known as a good earner just like his father. His father passed away when Nathan was at 20 due to a natural cause, and Nathan was beside him when his father took his last breath, his last message to Nathan was "I'm proud of you son, keep going and don't look back". Since then Nathan was become more active in the gang, until one day the cops decided to remove every last gang member in El Corona, that night was terrible, a lot of Nathan's friend died because they tried to fight back, luckily for Nathan he managed to survive and decided to flee to Blueberry and start a new life there with his uncle.
