His closest friend calls him Budi, But usually he calls him Mr. Santoso Budi was born in Indonesian. The father is a laborer, and his mother lives at home with him and his brother, Ujang Muliantoso. Hard times, often we don't eat. Next time we don't eat for a long time. Budi's father always told him to get past him and be strong. And that's what Budi does. The same cannot be said for Ujang Muliantoso. He could not take our hard way of life, the way we were forced to live. And finally, he gave up. After he died, he went to work with the father. Hour by hour I spend. Load crates on the ship, whatever needs to be done. I often go home when I have food, and am too tired to eat. So the mother of wisdom keeps the same food for me the next day. Year after year passes, and as time goes by, the mother and father grow old. As they passed, Budi packed every penny he had, every piece of clothing that belonged to Budi, and whatever he had, and he boarded the ship. It seems like Budi has been on that ship for years. But finally, one day, the horn exploded loudly, waking him up. Budi stood up from my bed, and heard the captain's cry, "San Fierro dock. As far as I go, then back, back, back!" Budi decides to get off the ship here. Budi entered with a local gang at first. Makes Budi feel safe, makes Budi feel like I have several people who will have my back when everything is down and dirty. Budi is wrong. This group wants Budi as their scapegoat, and nothing more. We have planned everything. San Fierro Bank. We are not many, but we are armed. Whatever we can get, we have. We will do this. I was ordered to wait outside, making sure no police were coming. A few minutes later the alarm went loud, and a gang member came out. They are scattered. My limited knowledge about San Fierro makes it difficult for me to run anywhere. The police followed, and Budi went straight into SFPD custody. So much for 'Dark.' Budi was charged, and spent the next five years of my life in prison. Budi decides not to take this anymore. When Budi leaves, everything will change. Budi will make them change. December 5, 1981, Budi is released from prison. he has hardened now. it has grown, not only mentally, but physically. Budi is no longer tall and thin, but looks rough. Only a few glances pointed at me as I walked the streets of San Fierro, but he could see it in their eyes. Afraid. Budi walked out of San Fierro, and into the mountains. There he meets a man, he offers Budi a ride. Surprised by this offer, Budi just nodded and entered. HE drove me to Los Santos. Los Santos, now THIS is the city for him. That's great, lots of people live here. And what's more, San Fierro is far, far away. Out of sight, and finally, out of mind. Budi decides this is where Budi will succeed. If not here, anywhere. And Los Santos is where Budi lives, and that is where Budi intends to be buried, But not too fast ...
