Bounty Hunter Bloods

East Side (E/S) Bounty Hunters Bloods gang is a large and well-known Afrikan-American street gang that was founded in the Watts district of Los Angeles, California around 1969/1970, and was founded strongly in 1972. Bounty Hunters has the distinction of being the biggest gang, in terms of membership and geographical area, in all of Los Angeles. Their main area, which is on the Nickerson Gardens Housing Project is from 108th Street (north) to Imperial (south) between Compton Ave (east) and Central Avenue (west). They occupy an area of 0.54 square miles making them the largest Black gang area in Watts. Originally known as the Green Jacket, it is believed that Gary Barker was very influential during the start of Bounty Hunters. Also Bobby Jack (born 1955) is a founding member. Bell Haven Bounty Hunters was formed around 1978 west of Central Avenue just south of the railroad tracks. Around 1981, Jimmy Walsh started a Gift Prize Hunter. At present, Bounty Hunters are considered by the Authority to be very violent street gangs who develop competition with many other street gangs. Their main rival is the Grape Street Watts Crips from Jordan Downs Housing Projects but since 1992 there has been a ceasefire between them and other gangs at Watts [1]. Although the ceasefire has been in effect for some time, there are occasional problems between Crips and Bloods in Watts, but it is not like what happened during the late 1980s [2]. Other well-known rivals include Carver Park Compton Crips, all Neighbor Hood Crips, all Kitchen Crips, 99 Watts Mafia Crips, Crip Hat Gang Watts, Street Watts Crips Holmes, Mona Park Crips Crips, Bacc Street Watts Crips, Front Street Crips Mafia, Watts Crip Hat Gang Watts, Crips Holmes Street Watts, Mona Park Crips Crips, Bacc Street Watts Crips, Front Street Watts Crips, Watts Crips Gang Gangs Franklin Square Crips, Compton Avenue Crips, Fudge Town Mafia Crips, 108 Watts Neighbor Hood Crips, all East Coast Crips and Avalon Gangster Crips. Bounty Hunter Bloods also developed superior competition with various sets of Piru over the years, specifically Campanella Park Turquoise, Leuders Park Piru, Mob Turquoise, West Side Turquoise, Turquoise Top Tree, Turquoise Top Tree and Turquoise Fruit City. Other Blood rivals include Athens Park Bloods, LA Denver Lane Bloods, Cross Atlantic Piru and Family Swan Bloods. Hispanic rivals mention the City-Central Stoners 13. Because of hatred: with them against the Grape Street Watts Crips, the Bounty Hunters formed an informal ceasefire with PJ Watts Crips. The Bounty Hunters are also friendly to Hacienda Village Bloods, Be-Bop Watts Bishop Bloods and Circle City Piru. It should be noted that the different factions of the Watts Payers have fought each other as well as with outside agitators.
