On May 13, 2026, Darwin Smith replaced Pierre Monteleone as CEO assisted by Jonathan Stone through major financial investment into the company and the execution of all necessary administrative processes, ultimately leading to the rebranding of Je Monterra into Ascendra Corporation. The peak of the mountain was no longer the final destination. The mountain was merely the starting point for a higher ascent. An ascent that begins from the bottom—hence the decision to change the name of Je Monterra to Ascendra. Ascendra is derived from the word “ascending,” signifying the journey from the foothills to the mountaintop.
