A few days after the funeral, Eddie feels depressed and hopeless. He didn’t want to go outside after that. The next day, his friend came to Eddie’s house and brought some stuff called “Coke “. Eddie used to refuse that stuff, but his friend persuaded him to try it. Feel depressed, Eddie starts to try it, at that moment he feels different, delusion in his mind, his own world in his mind right now, that's what Eddie feels when he uses that stuff, after tasting that shit… Eddie's drug dependence until 5 months, and Alan forced Eddie to stop using that and accept the reality. After hearing Alan’s words, Eddie realizes that he just wastes his time on the next day, he tries to make money, he works at a fast food restaurant, and leads his life.
