SOUTH CENTRAL PRESS MAFIA Ariel Natanael (אריאל נתנאל) is a second generation Jewish-American born and raised in Jefferson, Los Santos. His early life was rather difficult due the daily gang-life he encountered in his area. His father was a regular drug user and an even worse alcoholic. He’d often beat his wife, and as Ariel grew older his father would beat him too during his regular drunk outbursts. When Ariel became 8 years old, he’d try fighting back against his father and defend his mother. Obviously unsuccessfully so. He’d find other ways to be of hindrance against his father, by hiding his liquor for example. This would only make him more violent. However, as Ariel grew 11 years old, the violence from his father got worse and he also started accumulating a hefty amount of debts. The child was woken up late in the night by his mother, whom took him to their car. She didn’t know where she was headed, but she knew that they had to escape. As they drove away, Ariel’s father chased the car from behind and yelled out that he’d kill them. Ariel’s mother was forced to pull over and confront her husband. As the drunken man approached the woman while violently continuing to threaten them, a knife suddenly appeared in the hands of the mother, who stabbed her husband to death. Not long after, the cops appeared. and arrested the mother. After Ariel’s mother was arrested and put behind bars, his aunt claimed guardianship over him. His aunt, who resided in the poorer area of Marina, tried her best efforts to take care of the young traumatised boy. Ariel always had a rebellious and violent nature him however, harbouring his father’s violence. After a few years of school in West Los Santos, he’d begin to neglect his education and take a greater interest in coding and developing phone applications and video games. He’d spend many months watching YouTube videos and attending free online classes for coding and creating applications, before eventually working even more months on developing his own bad version of Angry Birds. Around this time, He’d also get employed at the local companyl as an IT assistant, where he learned his way around phone repairs, computer hardwares and softwares, and became quite skilled with IT installation as well. After a year, Ariel would finally go on to finish the phone game application he had been working on. While the poor knock-off version of his Angry Birds was quite terrible, he was actually quite proud of his achievement. He never uploaded it on the App Store however, keeping it as a personal game for only himself. Around this time, Ariel would also manage to finish High School and just barely gain his GED. After a few more years of working at local company, he would go on to find a job as another job that’d have higher wages and present better opportunities. Growing up surrounded by violence and injustice had made him observant, curious, and sensitive to the suffering of others. He wanted to give people a voice and expose what was really happening in the streets of Los Santos. That drive led him to apply to the San Andreas Network (SAN). Starting as an intern, Ariel covered gang conflicts, police activity, and human-interest stories in the city’s most dangerous neighborhoods. Ariel Natanael is a street-smart pressman who gets his stories from places most reporters never go. He doesn’t just rely on press releases or office interviews, he talks to people in the streets, in back rooms, and in quiet corners of the city. Ariel has built strong connections with gang members and mob figures who trust him enough to share what’s really happening. He walks a careful line between the world of the media and the underground, using what he learns to tell the truth about the city.
