He and his family are immigrants from Mexico who live comfortably in America. His father owns a auto repair shop that is always busy with customers every day. Ever since he was 15 years old, Daniel was taught how to fix engines so he could take over his father's business when he grew up. After turning 17, Daniel developed a strong passion for boxing, inspired by Muhammad Ali. He often watched Muhammad Ali's matches on his smartphone; even though they belonged to different eras, Daniel loved watching recordings of Ali's fights on YouTube. He decided he wanted to become a boxer just like his idol. At age 18, he enrolled in a boxing academy. Daniel proved to be the most talented student in the boxing world, leaving his coach amazed by his skills. He was exceptionally proficient in his moves and consistently won every match. Daniel was confident that his future would be bright. However, fate had other plans. His father was scammed, causing the family repair shop to go bankrupt. Daniel was subsequently expelled from the boxing academy because he could no longer afford the tuition. At age 20, Daniel decided to work as a mechanic in the Los Santos port area to support his family. Because his younger sibling was still in school and required significant financial support, his regular job was not enough. Daniel ultimately decided to join underground fight clubs. Leveraging his refined boxing skills, he became an undefeated fighter and earned substantial money from these underground tournaments.
