     Kieth Asshath was born in Flint County, San Andreas, a place where forests and dirt roads were a regular part of daily life. His father was a lumberjack and his mother sold food that she had made at home to the workers at the logging camp. Although their income was never large, they always managed to have enough to live on. When he was a child Kieth spent most of his time outdoors, picking up skills such as cutting wood, fishing and repairing simple tools. He looked up to his father, who constantly told him that a man had to earn his living by working hard. Since he grew up in Flint County he also saw bikers, drifters and small-time gang members go through the area. Kieth kept away from their activities, but he did respect the loyalty they showed one another and the esteem they had won through their reputation.

 

     When Kieth was fifteen he had already begun to assist his father after school hours. He carried the heavy logs, repaired the chainsaws and spent many hours working in the forest. Although the work was difficult it did make him stronger and more responsible. If he was not at the logging camp he earned additional money by helping the local farmers to repair their fences or to clear down trees that had fallen during storms. Kieth was not the sort to talk a lot, but he was not afraid to stand up for himself or for his family. All around Flint County people knew him as a hardworking young man who always completed his work. The time he spent at truck stops and roadside bars also brought him into contact with bikers and local hustlers. Even though he never got involved in their activities he did pick up their attitude towards loyalty, respect and never showing weakness.

 

    At nineteen, Kieth works full-time as a lumberjack, doing exactly what his father has done. Each morning he goes into the forest before it gets light, cutting down trees and loading the timber onto old trucks. Though the job is hard, it has made him stronger and more disciplined, and has taught him how important it is to earn each dollar. Nevertheless, Kieth thinks that life has more to give than the peaceful roads of Flint County. He dreams of meeting new people, finding better opportunities, and building up his own reputation. Whatever decision he makes whether to remain a lumberjack or to take a different route Kieth is certain that loyalty, respect, and hard work will always take priority.
