On the night of August 5, 2026, Idlewood Avenue. Baba Jefferson has spent the last few months living as an armed robber, using intimidation to get money quickly. After several previous actions went off without a problem, his confidence turned into carelessness. That night, he chose a 24-hour General Store as his next target, believing there was only an old guard who would not put up much resistance. Wearing a black face mask and carrying a single gun, Baba walked calmly into the store and immediately pointed the weapon at the shop owner, Marcus. In a threatening tone, he ordered Marcus to open the cash register drawer and hand over all the money inside.

Marcus said nothing, just raised his hands as if accepting his fate, while Baba started putting the stolen money into his shoulder bag without realizing that the situation before him wasn't as simple as he thought. Behind the cashier's counter, Marcus secretly remembered the robbery he had experienced a few years ago. Since then, he has always kept an old revolver as his last defense in case a situation like that happens again. When Baba was too focused on counting money and turned his back partially, Marcus saw an opportunity that wouldn't come again. He slowly moved his hand to grab the revolver, cocked it, and then aimed the barrel at Baba's chest. A loud shot echoed through the small room. The bullet hit Baba directly in the chest, sending his body flying backward and causing him to crash into the drink shelf before falling to the floor along with broken glass and scattered money. The weapon that was in Baba's hand slipped away, and blood started to pool under his body.

The sound of the gunshot immediately caught the attention of nearby residents, who quickly called the authorities. In just a few minutes, the sounds of police sirens and ambulances filled the Idlewood Avenue area. The officers secured the scene, while the medical team worked to provide emergency assistance to Baba Jefferson. However, the gunshot wound that pierced his chest caused severe bleeding that could not be stopped. Baba finally passed away at the location before he was taken to the hospital. The event ended his entire life as a criminal who had always relied on using weapons to threaten people in order to gain benefits. The decision he made that night turned out to be his final mistake, one that cost him his life. For the police officers, the case was considered self-defense by the victim of the robbery, while for Baba Jefferson, August 5, 2026, marked the end of his story on the streets.
