Alphonse Montana is a 26 year old man who was born in the United States and raised in Italy by the criminal family that adopted him. He grew up filled with hatred and a desire for revenge against the street gang that killed his parents when he was 7 years old. Essentially raised by the streets, Alphonse was forced to live in the criminal underworld to build a wide network of connections so he could track down the group that ruthlessly murdered his parents. At age 18, he worked as a drug dealer in a remote town in Italy. Alphonse was willing to do anything to make money so he could return to his home country and exact revenge on the street gang that killed his parents.

After earning enough money Alphonse decided to return to his home country immediately. However, bad luck never stopped haunting Alphonse upon arriving in the United States, he was immediately approached by local thugs who took all the money he was carrying. Alphonse could only let go of all that money he was too exhausted to fight them off. Alphonse was forced to start his life over from scratch; he had to work just to survive in that big city. He took a job as a bus driver to save up some initial capital.

As time went on, Alphonse began to realize that life in America was harsher and harder to survive than it had been when he was still in Italy. He was forced to live under a bridge because he didn’t have enough money to buy a house or rent an apartment with his current income, he even had a hard time buying food. Alphonse began to consider returning to the underworld; he wanted to make money by selling and dealing drugs like he used to, because he knew it was very easy to make money in that business, even though enormous risks awaited him. Alphonse began to feel desperate; he had no choice but to enter the underworld to make a lot of money. He decided to join a small group in the Idlewood area, started making friends, and gained their trust. Eventually, Alphonse was entrusted with selling drugs in that area.

After saving up enough money from that shady business, Alphonse immediately set out to find a decent place to live a place with a soft mattress, free of mosquitoes, and where he would no longer have to endure the cold night breeze under the bridge. Alphonse found an attractive offer: he could get a decent house at a low price. Without a second thought, he took out his savings and bought the house. After achieving his goal, it turned out that Alphonse couldn’t bring himself to leave the small gang that had helped him. He decided to continue building connections with them, and eventually, he began to feel at home and couldn’t bring himself to leave them. He grew to love the carefree life and enjoyed engaging in reckless activities like street fights, getting drunk, and robbing others. Eventually, Alphonse forgot the reason that had brought him back to America to find his parents’ killer and instead got swept up in the moment and began to enjoy his life.
