Avril Kimberly was born in the sweltering heat of Phoenix, Arizona, into a small family far from well-off. As a child, Avril never knew a father and was raised solely by her mother, a resilient woman who worked tirelessly as a waitress at a diner to make ends meet. Growing up in a low-income neighborhood taught Avril the harshness of life; she used to watch her mother count her remaining coins at the end of each month just to ensure there was food on the table and the rent was paid. Despite her limited resources, her mother never let Avril get discouraged and always instilled in her the importance of education and honesty as keys to changing one's destiny.
 

The bitterness of her childhood actually forged Avril's ambitious aspirations. Witnessing her mother often reluctant to seek medical treatment when sick due to the prohibitive medical costs, Avril's heart was moved to become a doctor. She was determined to dedicate her life to medicine, not only to improve her family's financial situation, but also to help the underprivileged who were often overlooked by the healthcare system. Avril studied diligently in school, utilizing every secondhand book and public library resource to achieve excellent grades. A deep sense of empathy and an unyielding determination fueled her continued pursuit of a dream that seemed impossible to others.
 

To pursue this ambitious goal, Avril made the bold decision to leave her hometown and travel to Los Santos, San Andreas. Armed with just a small amount of savings from a part-time job and an old suitcase, she set foot in a metropolis filled with both opportunities and threats. Avril fully understood that the road ahead would not be easy; she would have to struggle independently amidst the fierce competition of Los Santos, find part-time jobs to finance her medical studies, and adapt to a new environment. However, with a burning passion and a promise she whispered to her mother before leaving, Avril was ready to face any obstacles to one day wear a doctor's coat.
